1. Introduction

Interafinity ("we", "us", "our") operates https://www.interafinity.com and related services including the web dashboard, interview preparation tools, and optional desktop applications (collectively, the "Service").

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we process, why we process it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in the following categories:

Account data: name, email address, phone number (if provided), and authentication credentials you choose.
Profile & prep content: resume text, job descriptions you paste, mock interview responses, practice history, and preferences you save in the dashboard.
Payment data: billing name, order references, and payment status. Card and UPI details are handled by our payment partners (e.g. Cashfree); we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Usage & device data: pages visited, feature usage, browser type, IP address, and coarse location derived from IP for fraud prevention and analytics.
Support communications: messages you send to our support team and attachments you include.
Desktop app data: version, crash logs, and session metadata needed to run updates and troubleshoot — not continuous screen recording unless you explicitly enable a feature that requires it.

3. How we use your information

We use personal data to:

Create and secure your account and authenticate you.
Deliver mock interviews, resume tools, copilot sessions, question bank access, and related AI features.
Process payments, activate subscriptions, and send transactional emails (receipts, access changes).
Improve product quality, fix bugs, and understand aggregate usage patterns.
Respond to support requests and enforce our Terms of Service.
Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or abuse.

4. AI and third-party processors

Some features send text or audio-derived content to AI providers to generate feedback, suggestions, or structured outputs. We configure these services for production use and limit what is sent to what is needed for the feature you requested.

We may use hosting, email, analytics, and payment vendors who process data on our behalf under contractual obligations. A current list of categories is available on request at support@interafinity.com.

5. Data retention

We retain account and billing records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet tax, accounting, and dispute requirements.

Interview and copilot sessions are designed with a privacy-first mindset: live assistance streams are processed for the session and are not kept as permanent recordings unless a feature explicitly saves output you choose to store (e.g. a resume draft in Resume Studio).

You may request deletion of your account by emailing support@interafinity.com. Some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g. completed payment records).

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and monitoring for suspicious activity. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal data.

You can update profile fields in the dashboard where available. For other requests, contact support@interafinity.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-product notice where appropriate.
